More about my Story

Let me be clear that I am far from perfect. My life has been full of some amazing highs and lows. In my life I have worked at food restaurants, cleaned semi-trucks, a labourer, in a chicken-feed factory, youth worker, school chaplain, and pastor. All these jobs have taught me so much and I have truly learnt so much from being a School Chaplain and Pastor within the church.  I have been lucky to study some and obtain a Youth Work Diploma; Children Youth, & Family Intervention Diploma; and a Bachelor Degree in Theology. My passion is to continue studying and I am looking forward to future things I will learn to help me become more Christ-like. 

I want to make it clear that my journey with God has not been smooth and I have consistently wrestled with God. I have had churches tell me, “I can go somewhere else to worship God.” I could share countless stories about my journey filled with some of the greatest and hardest moments of my life. I would rather wait for another time when maybe we could have a coffee or a face-to-face conversation via Zoom or something. The point of sharing some of my story is to point out that I am far from perfect, and my life is far from perfect. I have learnt from my mistakes (and continue to learn from them) and have seen the love of Christ be the glue that has constantly held my life together throughout every struggle and is currently holding me in my struggle. My passion is to help you discover this glue in your own life because God is all around us and constantly moving. As we discover this we are able to join in the Divine Dance happening and sustaining all of creation.
